About Bob Moody

Bob Moody has served with Family Ministries Arkansas since 2015. He earned his undergraduate degree from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and his master's degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Bob brings a diverse background in leadership and public service, including five years with Comprehensive Juvenile Services, 26 years in healthcare administration at Fort Smith's major medical centers, more than 20 years of service in the U.S. Army Reserves, completing Command and General Staff and retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, and four years serving Congressman Steve Womack as a Field Representative and Military Liaison.

Originally hired as the first State Administrator, Bob directed operations for Family Ministries programs in Arkansas. During his tenure, Family Ministries has provided care for nearly 900 abused and neglected children across Western Arkansas through foster care, residential care, and emergency placement services. He has witnessed countless lives transformed through the ministry's work, including numerous professions of faith, baptisms, and more than 80 adoptions.

In recent years, Bob transitioned into a development role, where he works closely with the Family Ministries Advisory Board, community partners, churches, and supporters to secure resources that help provide exceptional care for children and families. This includes two major events each year, Chuckles for a Cause and Golfing for Kids. He is passionate about building relationships and raising awareness of the organization's mission to serve vulnerable children and families throughout Arkansas.

Bob remains committed to advancing the ministry's impact and ensuring children and families in need receive the support, stability, and hope they deserve from this ministry.
